Newington has over 50 consultants working in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Chelmsford and Edinburgh, providing advice to clients engaged in communications with decision-makers in Westminster, Cardiff, Holyrood, Stormont and Brussels, key stakeholder organisations, and the media.

In the last three years at the Public Affairs Awards, Newington has won: Consultant of the Year (Twice), and Consultancy Campaign of the Year in 2017. Mark founded Newington in 2006, and has overseen its growth into the dynamic and award winning consultancy that it is today. A major industry figure he offers strategic counsel to board directors across a range of sectors at a local, devolved and national government level. He is the former chairman of the Association of Professional Political Consultants and a former Labour Council Group Chairman
Chris provides strategic counsel to clients in a number of highly regulated sectors, including financial services, housing and transport at a national and devolved level. He won the Consultant of the Year award at the Public Affairs Awards in 2016 and in 2017 was recognised for leading the best public affairs campaign for Newington’s work with the Licensed Taxi Driver’s Association.
Previously a Special Adviser to Conservative Cabinet Ministers William Hague, Andrew Lansley and Patrick McLoughlin, he has been responsible for managing and planning the Government’s legislative programme, providing expert parliamentary and political advice to Downing Street and Cabinet Ministers.
