Located on the Greater Phoenix Metro area, 10 to 1 Public Relations is focused on developing and implementing strategies that grow and maintain the positive awareness and reputation of its clients. Launched in 2012, 10 to 1 Public Relations’ philosophy is that it takes 10 good things to be said about a company to make up for one bad. Since it’s only a matter of time before a negative comment (true or false) is made, it’s essential to build up a company’s “good will bank” to protect its long-term image and reputation. This philosophy led to the company’s name. To grow a company’s positive image, we believe in a drip approach: meaning lots of little stories consistently over time. Like drips out of a faucet, if you collect the drips, you can then use that water any way you need it in the future. Compare that to the water coming out of a shower like a splashy one-time news story. While the water feels good when it’s on, once you turn it off the water goes down the drain and you dry off. You go on with your day and don’t think about the shower again. We love multi-market launches of products and services. Once we figure out the secret sauce to get our clients excellent coverage in one market, we like to repeat that success media market after media market. We’re also quite good at getting our clients lots of interviews when they attend industry trade shows. All the while, we’re planning for a media emergency by creating crisis scenario playbooks with our clients so that we’re prepared to implement our response to any threat.
