Founded in 1999, SPM is a Dallas-based PR agency with offices in Austin. The agency is ranked the sixth largest independent PR firm in Texas and in the top 100 nationally by O’Dwyer’s. SPM promotes and protects iconic food, restaurant, retail, consumer packaged goods and franchise brands through public and media relations, brand development and crisis management. SPM Vice President and PR veteran Mary Kate Jeffries’ experience includes managing product and brand launches, grand openings and community partnerships in the consumer packaged goods, restaurant and travel and hospitality industries. She is a graduate of Boston University with a master’s in journalism and a bachelor’s in public relations, and a longtime community volunteer for organizations such as the Junior League of Dallas and the Dallas Historic Society.

SPM President Suzanne Miller founded SPM Communications as a one-person agency and has grown the agency to one of the nation’s top 100 independent PR firms and top 20 in the food and beverage segment. In 2015, Suzanne was named a PR News Top Women in PR, a prestigious national honor. Her community involvement includes work for Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation, for which she testified in front of Congress to help bring a record $25 million in federal funds for NF research.
