Gootenberg is a Paris-based independent agency specialized in reputation management. We help businesses with their Public Relations strategy, addressing both traditional and social media.
The agency was created in 2008 and is run by Francois Ramaget, a seasoned PR professional who has a long experience in working for international PR networks., Gootenberg operates through two specialized departments, Corporate and Brands, enabling the agency to cover most B2B and B2C companies’ requirements.
We are experts in Media Relations, the leading instrument for building visibility and legitimacy. They aim at adapting the company messages to media editorial constraints - making them clearly heard within the news. In addition, we know how to deal - online as in real life - with communities and influencer groups within the political, non-profit and professional sphere.
Gootenberg has an in-depth expertise in issue management: We set up media training, media or social network crisis management training and introduction to community management.
We also master all techniques to build and maintain online reputation including monitoring, brand content and community management - in order to maintain relationship with stakeholders.

A graduated engineer from Ecole Centrale Lyon, François founded Gootenberg in 2008 in order to add some logics into PR while keeping the touch of imagination essential to emerge on oversaturated markets. His approach is based on a solid consulting experience acquired with major international PR networks. An expert of IT sector, he extended his know-how to Industry and Retail sectors as well as to the mastering of social networks.
Frédérique has been handling media relations for nearly 20 years. An expert in complex issue communication, she has an extensive experience in the Finance and IT sectors. Before joining Gootenberg, she worked as a Press Officer for the NYSE Euronext group and had previously worked for 10 years for UK-based PR networks developing a strong expertise in B2B communication in the IT sector. Frédérique has a Master in Public Relations and Corporate Communication and a Degree in Electronics.
