Cambre Associates

Founded 17 years ago, Cambre has pioneered an integrated approach to public relations and public affairs, based on best practice and a thorough knowledge of the PR and PA landscapes in Brussels and internationally. As the Brussels advocacy and communications landscape has evolved, we have consistently stayed ahead of the trends and ensured our clients results by means of a combination of in-depth expertise, solid networks and creative approach. Although specialised in EU affairs, Cambre’s brief is far wider. Our clients’ needs often require a global approach. We have successfully initiated and led numerous pan-European and international campaigns and represent clients based around the world. Our work lends itself to blending into global campaigns. Today, the fine art of lobbying needs to be combined with the ability to understand everything that is happening (both offline and online), define an engaging narrative and ensure you are atop the information pyramid (again off and online) with strong and trustworthy content. We talk about ‘advocacy 3.0’ to define today’s paradigm where the separate – but in practice often inseparable – disciplines of government relations, public affairs and communications come together as one. Our clients include a combination of blue-chip multinational companies, European industry trade bodies, governmental and non-governmental organisations. We have a truly international team of more than 35 consultants from 15 different nationalities. Cambre is a member of the European Public Affairs Consultancies Association, EPACA, which is the representative trade body for public affairs consultancies working with EU institutions. As such, Cambre adheres to the EPACA code of conduct and supports the introduction of voluntary registration system for all lobbyists. Cambre is registered at the EU Transparency Registry (registry number 23020671103-67)
